CNY blood drive
MGH employees working at CNY are invited to participate in a blood drive Nov. 20, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The MGH Bloodmobile will be located on 13th Street in front of the MGH parking garage. Thanksgiving service
The MGH Chaplaincy Department will celebrate an interfaith service in recognition of the Thanksgiving Day holiday Nov. 26 at 12:15 pm in the MGH Chapel on Ellison 1. All are welcome. The service also will be broadcast on Channel 16. For more information, call (617) 726-2220.

Blood donations needed during holiday season
The MGH Blood Donor Center will be giving thanks to employees who donate blood during the month of November. Special T-shirts and a choice of $5 coupons for Eat Street Cafè, Coffee Central or a one-day parking pass to the Lomasney garage will be given to employees who donate blood. Donors who give blood Nov. 26 and 27 will receive a free coupon for a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. To schedule an appointment, call (617) 726-8177.

Domestic violence vigil
The MGH Chaplaincy, Police and Security, HAVEN (Hospitals Helping Abuse and Violence End Now), and the Employee Assistance Program invite the MGH community to a service of remembrance and healing for those who have died in Massachusetts from
incidences of domestic violence. The service will be held Dec. 6 at 12:15 pm in the MGH Chapel. For more information, call (617) 726-2220.

Senior HealthWISE seminar
The MGH Senior Supper Club HealthWISE seminar series will offer an educational seminar "Holiday Cheer, Holiday Blues" Nov. 25, from 4 to 5 pm in the East Garden Dining Room. The seminar will be presented by Cornelia Cremens, MD, from MGH Senior Health. Admission is free. For more information, call (617) 724-6756.
