EAP seminar
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will sponsor "Who's Driving
Your Bus?" Nov. 18, from noon to 1 pm in the Wellman Conference Room.

the EAP staff will lead a humorous and insightful seminar that will help

Partners Responsible Conduct of Research
program
Partners Responsible Conduct of Research Program will be held May 11,
2005, from 5 to 9 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. This program is designed
to fulfill the NIH ethics-training requirement for all pre-doctoral and
post-doctoral National Research Service Award trainees receiving support
from grants, fellowships or the Mentored Clinical Scientist Development

Senior HealthWISE seminar

Senior HealthWISE and the Blum
Patient and Family Learning Center will co-sponsor "Flu Season
Without a Flu Shot: What Do I Need to Know?" Nov. 16, from 11 am
to noon in the Walcott Conference Rooms. Paula Wright, RN, of the MGH
Infection Control Unit, will discuss what seniors can do to protect themselves
from the flu, how to know if they have the flu and what to do if they
have symptoms. This event, for seniors 60 years and older, is free of

Great American Smokeout
The MGH
Quit Smoking Service will sponsor an information booth in recognition
of the Great American Smokeout Nov. 18, from 9 am to 2 pm in the Main
Corridor. Information about smoking cessation programs and monthly support
groups to help people stop smoking through the Quit Smoking Service will

Nursing Career Expo
Patient Care Services
Human Resources will host a Nursing Career Expo Nov. 14, from noon to
3 pm in the North and East Garden Dining Rooms. Learn about and interview
for staff nurse (new graduates and experienced), clinical nurse specialist,
RN project manager and surgical technologist opportunities at the MGH.

Management of Aggressive Behavior seminars
MGH Police and Security
will offer two Management of Aggressive Behavior seminars Nov. 16, from
7:30 to 10:30 am in the Burr 5 Conference Room and Nov. 18, from 4 to
7 pm in the Walcott Conference Rooms. This program will provide diverse
strategies for preventing and diffusing aggressive, threatening or assaultive
behavior and will provide skills to increase confidence in managing conflict.
