Sekar Kathiresan, MD, of the MGH Cardiology Division, recently received the American College of Cardiology Foundation/Merck Adult Cardiology Research Fellowship Award and the GlaxoSmithKline Research and Education Foundation for Cardiovascular Disease Award for Young Investigators.

Robert Sheridan, MD, of MGH Burn and Trauma Services, received a Governor's Community Service Award from the American College of Chest Physicians for his work helping to create a burn program in Honduras.
