MGH recognized for disability awareness efforts

The MGH was recognized at the State House Oct. 26 for its efforts to address employment and access issues for people with disabilities. Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healy presented the 2004 Exemplary Employer Award to Jeff Davis, senior vice president for MGH Human Resources, who accepted the award on behalf of the MGH. The award is presented yearly by the governor's office on behalf of the Governor's Commission on the Employment for People with Disabilities.

The hospital was one of 12 organizations to receive the award.
