The most recent poster in the FYI series focuses on safety – particularly needlestick prevention – and has been distributed throughout the hospital as part of the hospitalwide initiative to educate employees and staff about important health care issues.

MGHers are encouraged to do the following:

Practice good safety measures to prevent injuries to self and others;

• Be informed about new products and procedures that help prevent needlestick and other sharps-related injuries; and
  
• Report all sharps-related injuries to Occupational Health at 726-2217.
