Open enrollment will be held at the MGH Nov. 4 to 24 for weekly and monthly paid employees. Open enrollment is the one time of year when benefits-eligible employees, who are regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week, can enroll, change, or add family members to their benefit plan. All additions and/or changes to the benefit plan will be effective Jan. 1, 2003.

Open enrollment packets - which include personal benefit summaries, information about new changes and steps about how to enroll by telephone or on the Internet - will be mailed to employees' homes before Nov. 4.

MGHers are invited to stop by information sessions - called BeneFairs and QuickStops - to ask questions about various benefit programs. At the BeneFairs, employees will have the opportunity to speak to representatives from companies that provide benefits to the MGH. The MGH Human Resources staff will be available to answer questions at the QuickStops.
