  • MGH educates about bioterrorism
    In the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and the recent reports of anthrax cases – both feared and actual –  MGH clinicians and administrators are offering information to educate employees and the public about bioterrorist agents, as well as highlighting the hospital's planned response to any crisis.
  • It's just a little pinch: MGH offers flu shots
    MGH Occupational Health Services (OHS) staff members believe that it is more important than ever for MGHers to recognize the significant risk of contracting the flu, and they encourage all employees and staff to take precautions to prevent flu infection.
  • A magical evening at the Storybook Ball
    Wizards, witches and wands abounded at the annual Storybook Ball held Oct. 19 at the Four Seasons Hotel to benefit MassGeneral Hospital for Children. The popular fictional character Harry Potter – a young boy who possesses special powers as a wizard – set the theme for the magical evening.
  • MGHers support American Heart Walk
    During the fall season, when charity walks take place practically every weekend, MGHers are out in full force, lending their support to good causes. A large team of more than 100 MGH employees, family members and friends put on their walking shoes for the annual American Heart Walk Sept. 29.
