Antique treasures benefit MGH patients
Every year, antique enthusiasts travel from around the country to attend one of the premier antique shows held annually in Boston —the Ellis Antique Show. As participants peruse and purchase the finest in American and European furniture, ceramics, paintings, books, jewelry and other treasures, they also will have the opportunity to support the world-class pediatric care at MassGeneral Hospital for Children.

For the second year, MassGeneral Hospital for Children will be one of the beneficiaries of the show, along with Ellis Memorial and Eldredge House. The show will be held Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 at the Castle at Park Plaza, 130 Columbus Ave., Boston. Alan Ezekowitz, MBChB, DPhil, chief of Pediatrics for MassGeneral Hospital for Children, is the show's honorary chairman.

MGH employees and staff interested in attending the event can purchase a discounted ticket of $10 when they present their hospital ID badge.
