The 2001 United Way campaign will kick off Oct. 25. MGH employees will receive pledge cards with their paychecks at that time. Additional information will be available through hospital department representatives and the MGH United Way intranet web site as the campaign progresses.

The goal of this year’s campaign is to raise $225,000, a 9 percent increase over the $206,847 raised last year. The 2000 campaign was the most successful in MGH history.

MGHers who donate will be eligible for dozens of raffle prizes, and all surplus funds raised above the campaign goal will assist MGH Social Services in providing extra care to patients and families in need.
