Henry Chueh, MD, co-director of the MGH Laboratory of Computer Science, has been elected to membership in the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI). ACMI is an international honorary college of elected fellows who have made high-quality and sustained contributions to the field of medical informatics.

Warren M. Zapol, MD, chief of MGH Anesthesia and Critical Care, was selected as the 1999 winner of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Excellence in Research Award.
