Women today face increasingly complex issues in terms of personal health and health care options. A Women's Wellness Fair--held for MGH employees and patients Oct. 5 under the Bulfinch Tent--helped to shed light on prevalent women's health topics and programs. The fair offered information and interactive presentations, such as a self-breast-exam demonstration. MGHers visited booths staffed by a variety of MGH departments and services, including MGH Physical Therapy, MGH Nutrition and Food Services, MGH Psychiatry, the MGH Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service and several others. Suzanne Thomas, of MGH Biomedical Engineering, was the winner of the event's door prize--a gift basket donated by the MGH Images Hair and Skin Care Center.
