AMMP recognizes dedicated
members and scholarship recipients The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) honored its members and scholarship recipients Sept. 12 during the organization's annual Scholarship and Member Recognition Luncheon. As part of its mission, AMMP is committed to the advancement, recruitment, retention and development of multicultural professionals into leadership roles throughout the MGH and Partners. AMMP also provides scholarships on a competitive basis to MGH employees who are interested in furthering their education. Scholarships and awards were given to several members of AMMP for their work on a variety of committees, including nomination of new leaders, membership, diversity advisory, scholarship and public relations. Loretta Holliday, Wanda Velazquez and Gilbert Arenaza also were named as the newly elected executive board members. AMMP's greatest honor, the Monumental Award, was given to Angela Gee, a team leader in Emergency Services, for her dedication to AMMP and her participation in the scholarship selection process.
