Childcare
expansion for MGH, Partners employees Childcare options for employees of Partners, the MGH and the MGH Institute of Health Professions will expand with the opening of a new daycare center at the Catherine Filene Shouse Building - formerly Building 36 - at CNY. The center, called the Children's Quarters of the MGH Institute of Health Professions, is scheduled to open in January 2002 in the building that will be the new home of the Institute. The center will be licensed to provide developmentally appropriate care to children between 2 and 6 years of age. Applications currently are being accepted on a rolling basis. Enrollment is scheduled to begin in November 2001. Twelve of the 49 available slots have been reserved for Charlestown residents. Priority for the remaining openings will be given to the Institute community of faculty, staff and students, and then to MGH and Partners employees. The center's hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6 pm. Full-time tuition has been set at $915 per month. Part-time slots also will be available.
