A tragic day remembered

A single red rose, candle-lit prayer and inspirational music quietly marked the second anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001.

Services and prayers were offered in the chapel to help the MGH community remember those who lost their lives two years ago. Chaplains were available throughout the day, and a prayer book was placed in the chapel, for people to offer written thoughts and prayers.

Patients, visitors and employees who visited the chapel did so quietly, seeking understanding and offering support.
