Partners town meeting reminder
Samuel O. Thier, MD, president and chief executive officer of Partners HealthCare, will discuss a variety of topics related to Partners at a town meeting Sept. 23, from 10 to 11 am in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Bone marrow donor drive
The MGH Bone Marrow Transplant Program will hold a bone marrow donor drive Sept. 18, from 10 am to 5 pm in the Main Lobby for anyone who would like to become part of the National Bone Marrow Donor Program's donor list. Graduate programs information session
The MGH Institute of Health Professions will be holding an open house Sept. 28, from 10 am to noon at CNY Building 36. Information will be provided about graduate programs in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Clinical Investigation and Speech Pathology offered at the CNY campus. Drop-in discussion group
A drop-in discussion group for hospital employees about psychosocial issues related to genetic testing for cancer will be offered on the second Friday of each month beginning Sept. 13, from noon to 1 pm in the Cancer Resource Room. For more

Reproductive medicine workshop
The MGH Vincent Center for Reproductive Medicine and IVF will hold its third meeting of a four-part workshop series "Psychospiritual Healing of Infertility" Sept. 18, from 5:15 to 7 pm on Vincent 210. The workshop is an introduction to energy healing techniques that can activate the energetic psychospiritual possibilities underlying the infertility process. Science fair mentors
The MGH/Timilty Partnership is seeking science fair mentors. Mentors meet with students at the MGH on two Friday mornings per month, from October to January. The Partnership provides mentor training, resources to get mentor and student started and ongoing support. Fall 2002 schedule for computer training
The Partners Information Systems Training has released the fall 2002 computer workshop training schedule for Microsoft Office applications. CNY blood drive
MGH employees working at CNY are invited to participate in the next blood drive Sept. 25, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The MGH Bloodmobile will be located at CNY Building 149. Nominations for the 2002 Partners in Excellence Awards now are being accepted. Forms are available through managers and also are available in this week's Hotline

nominations is Sept. 27. This year's Partners in Excellence Awards ceremony will be held Dec. 11 at 4 pm in the Wang Lobby and Cafeteria.
