MGHers chalk one up for the arts

The MGH is comprised of many talented and creative people, and MGHers had the opportunity to express those talents Aug. 22 when they were invited to create an original masterpiece during the Boston "Chalk One Up for the Arts" Festival at Government Center.

MGH Employee Activities, through MGH Human Resources, reserved 10 sidewalk squares for employees to help create a citywide sidewalk art show alongside well-known Boston artist Sidewalk Sam. Pictured at right, Frank Soldo from MGH Development shows off his department's creative achievement while his co-workers offer support.

Employees from the following departments and services participated in the festival: Bulfinch Temporary Service, Community Benefits, Development, Health Information Services, Human Resources, MassGeneral Hospital for Children, Medical Interpreter Services, Radiology Educational Media Services and the Volunteer Department.
