All employees who give blood during the two-week contest will receive an MGH/BWH Employee Blood Donor Challenge T-shirt. A plaque also will be given to the winning donor center. For more information or to schedule an appointment to donate, call (617) 726-8177.

MGH employees are invited to join Boston artist "Sidewalk Sam" in creating sidewalk chalk drawings for the Boston "Chalk One Up for the Arts" Festival Aug. 23, 11 am to 3 pm. MGH Employee Activities, through MGH Human Resources, has reserved individual squares for MGH departments to use. Additional squares still are available for other departments or internal groups.
