Food, fun and fiesta

For the 10th consecutive year, the MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center was a major sponsor of the annual Latin American Festival at the Mystic Mall in Chelsea, Aug. 3 to 5. The weekend celebration recognizes the pride of heritage felt throughout the Latin American culture with food, music, a parade and a carnival.

More than 20 MGH Chelsea employees volunteered their time to take part in the festival by providing health care information to visitors, offering specific materials about the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program and lending a creative hand with face painting.

"Every year the health center is well represented by staff who participate in this wonderful event and interact with so many people who work or live in the community," says Jeannette McWilliams, administrative director for MGH Chelsea.
