Although the anticipated traffic gridlock during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) was less than expected, MGHers still were out in full force ensuring the convention week went as smoothly as possible. Bridget Metzler, an MGH administrative fellow, and Deborah Routhier, from MGH Police and Security, took on the arduous task of staffing the hospital's designated DNC phone line, providing information about transportation, parking and other issues related to the DNC. "We were really busy at the beginning of the week," says Routhier. "We definitely had a lot of interesting calls."
