Conference room bookings
Because of an upgrade in the scheduling system, Environmental
Services staff request that MGHers not make any new requests for conference
room bookings during the weeks of July 29 through Aug. 9 for the following
rooms: O'Keeffe Auditorium; Walcott 2 and 3; Wellman 101; Burr 1, 2, 3,
5 and 6; Lawrence House; and Clinics 1 Lower Amphitheater. There also
will be no special requests for tables and chairs accepted during this
time. However, cancellations or changes to pre-existing reservations will
be accepted during this time period. The system shutdown will not affect
any existing reservations that have been previously scheduled.
Chalk drawing fun
The MGH will be joining "Sidewalk Sam" again this year to create
chalk drawings for the "Boston Chalk One Up for the Arts" Festival
Aug. 22 from 11 am to 3 pm at Government Center. The MGH Human Resources
Department has reserved 10 squares. Interested departments should send
e-mail to Sunayana Jhalani at sjhalani@partners.org
The deadline is July 31.
