Golf tournament fundraiser
The fifth annual Andrew R. Marzilli Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the MGH Cystic Fibrosis Research Fund and the MGH Lung Transplant Program will be held Sept. 16 at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading, Mass. Tee time is at 8 am. The cost for a day of golf, including lunch, is $100; $25 for lunch only. Entry forms must be postmarked by Sept. 1. Marzilli was a double-lung recipient who died two years ago at age 19. Conference room bookings
Because of an upgrade in the scheduling system, Environmental Services staff request that MGHers not make any new requests for conference room bookings during the weeks of July 29 through Aug. 9 for the following rooms: O'Keeffe Auditorium; Walcott 2 and 3; Wellman 101; Burr 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6; Lawrence House; and Clinics 1 Lower Amphitheater. There also will be no special requests for tables and chairs accepted during this time. However, cancellations or changes to pre-existing reservations will be accepted during this time period. The system shutdown will not affect any existing reservations that have been previously scheduled.

Chalk drawing fun
The MGH will be joining "Sidewalk Sam" again this year to create chalk drawings for the "Boston Chalk One Up for the Arts" Festival Aug. 22 from 11 am to 3 pm at Government Center. The MGH Human Resources Department has reserved 10 squares. Interested departments should send e-mail to Sunayana Jhalani at sjhalani@partners.org The deadline is July 31.

MGH Chelsea to participate in Latin American Festival
The MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center will participate in the annual Chelsea Latin American Festival Aug. 3 and 4 at the Mystic Mall (across from the health center at 151 Everett Ave.). MGH Chelsea will host tables at the festival with educational information, and will offer health screenings, raffles and other activities. For more information, call (617) 884-8300.
