The grant was awarded as part of the company's Community Action Recognition grant program. The program recognizes employee volunteerism and provides additional funds to organizations in which employees are involved. Win Hodges, an associate at New England Financial, whose volunteerism with the Network was recognized by the grant program, stated, "In sharing, we find the satisfaction of helping others as well as helping ourselves."
