Few treats pack as much summer punch as a tasty scoop – or two – of ice cream. Thanks to the efforts of employees who rode their bikes to work during the Boston Bike-to-Work Corporate Challenge, MGHers were able to sample delicious new Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavors July 12. Staff from a Ben and Jerry's truck parked on the Bulfinch lawn served scoops of the frozen goodies to Bike-to-Work participants and all other MGHers from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The celebration was the hospital's reward for having the largest number of participants in Boston Bike-to-Work Week, a citywide effort to promote bicycle commuting.
