From bedside to ballfield for charity

MGH and BWH physicians devote their lives to fighting illnesses and injuries. Yet July 13, the battle they and other Partners employees waged was a friendly rivalry that took place on the baseball diamond of Fenway Park. The day-long event raised funds for Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD), Boston's oldest anti-poverty organization. Physicians and other employees from both the MGH and BWH have participated in the "Field of Dreams" fundraiser since it began four years ago. "Field of Dreams" pits corporate softball teams against each other in an all-day tournament.
