ALS
art exhibit extended
The Muscular Dystrophy Association's art exhibit at the MGH has been extended
through Aug. 1. Called "Transcending Barriers to Creativity,"
the exhibit showcases original artwork by people living with ALS or Lou
Gehrig's disease. The artwork may be viewed Monday through Friday, from
8 am to 4 pm, in the Neurology Clinic in WACC, room 835.
New PCHI website
New features have been added to the website for Partners Community Health
Care, Inc. (PCHI). The new web address for the site is www.PCHInet.com,
which is accessible from any Partners computer workstation. The site offers
a variety of resources for PCHI and other Partners clinicians, including
access to clinical records (accessible by password only), patient education
information, searchable reference databases about clinical and diagnostic
information, and pharmacy resources. For more information about the website,

Annuity fairs and financial planning workshops
The Partners Benefits Office will host two tax-sheltered annuity, fairs
July 29, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, in the Wellman Conference Room and July
30, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, in the Research Affairs Conference Room at CNY
Building 149. Representatives from Fidelity, TIAA-CREF and Vanguard will
be available to answer questions. There also will be a financial planning
workshop July 29, from noon to 1 pm, in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. The workshop
will focus on asset allocation. For more

Orientation for employees with limited English
The Human Resources Department now offers an orientation program for employees
who speak limited English. The program is offered twice a month and is
designed to ensure smaller sessions to meet the needs of employees with
language barriers. The sessions will provide a more individualized and
in-depth explanation of orientation topics. Enrollment is optional and
is coordinated with the department manager, new employee and the Human
