  • Clinton's Medicare proposal bad news for teaching hospitals
    On June 29, President Clinton unveiled a plan to modernize and strengthen Medicare. The plan is projected to save an estimated $72 billion over 10 years but could lead to loss of revenue for hospitals because it extends the Balanced Budget Act (BBA) beyond 2002.
  • Training health care workers for tomorrow
    Luis Martinez, of the MGH Office of Research Affairs, always wanted to attend college. He spoke about his dream and his experience with the MGH Support Service Grant Program at a recent press conference.
  • Cycling to safety in Chelsea
    More than 200 bicyclists and roller bladers participated in the second annual "Safety on Wheels" education event at MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center.
