They are the employees who typically work behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth and successful operation of the MGH. These employees were recognized at Operations Support Staff Day June 21. The day honors the commitment and contributions of support services staff at the hospital. The celebration occurred in three segments: a luncheon under the Bulfinch Tent for day-shift employees, a dinner for evening staff and boxed dinners in the East Garden Dining Room for all support services staff on the midnight to 8 am shift. A photo display in the Main Lobby shed light upon the stories of individual support staff members, many of whom have offered their talents and dedication to the MGH for decades.
