The high-energy rhythms of the Volume II Steel Band filled the air as MGHers gathered on the Bulfinch Lawn June 25 to enjoy the annual Summer Lunch and Diversity Celebration, hosted by James J. Mongan, MD, president of the MGH. Employees received a complimentary picnic-style lunch with a choice of vegetable or chicken fajitas, potato chips, nectarines and ice cream. Children of the Krakowiak Polish Dance Group — dressed in decorative folk costumes — entertained hospital employees and staff. And employees had the chance to have their pictures drawn by the Nose Online Caricature Company and to take home colorful posters depicting the new "Faces of MGH" murals.
