North End Community Health Center celebrates with the Red Sox

The North End Community Health Center, in collaboration with the North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center, held a fundraising event "Teammates for the North End," May 18 at the Boston Harbor Hotel. The event was held in honor of the legendary Red Sox centerfielder, Domenic "Dom" DiMaggio. Also in attendance were Red Sox hall of famers, Bobby Doerr and Johnny Pesky; Senate President Robert Travaglini; Larry Lucchino, Red Sox CEO; and Brit Nicholson MD, chief medical officer of the MGH. Tony-award-winning singer Eugene Brancoveanu, provided the evening's entertainment. The North End Community Health Center joined the MGH in 2000.
