HOPES seminars
The MGH HOPES (Helping Our Patients/Families through Education and Support) program will present "Parenting in Challenging Times: A Drop-In Support Group for Parents," facilitated by Paula Rauch, MD, of MGH Psychiatry, June 27, 11 am to noon. On June 28, "Sunscreens Make Summer Sense: Choosing and Using an Appropriate Sunscreen Lotion," facilitated by Regina Holdstock, RPh, will be offered noon to 1 pm. All seminars are held in the Cancer Resource Room, Cox 1. For more information, call 4-1822.

MGH Backup Child Care August vacation camps
On July 19, the MGH Backup Child Care Center will accept phone reservations for August vacation camps. The vacation camps are from Aug. 21 to 25 and Aug. 28 to Sept. 1. The camps run from 7:30 am to 6 pm each day. The cost is $200 per week. Children must be between the ages of 6 and 12. To register, call 4-8414.

Bulfinch BBQ grand opening
The Department of Nutrition and Food Services invites MGHers to the grand opening of the outdoor Bulfinch BBQ June 26, beginning at 11 am. The Bulfinch BBQ will be open throughout the summer Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 3 pm.

Schwartz Center Rounds
The 39th Kenneth B. Schwartz Center Rounds will be held in the Walcott Conference Room June 30, noon to 1 pm. Lunch will be provided at 11:45 am. All MGH care providers are invited to attend. Nursing and social work CEUs, category 1 CME and risk management credits are available. For more information, call 4-6862.

Summer outings for families of residents and fellows
Spouses and children of MGH resident physicians and fellows are invited to afternoon gatherings July 12, 19, 26 and Aug. 2, 9 and 16 at various locations.
