Program CRC Seminar Series
The MGH Clinical
Research Program (CRP) will sponsor "Using the General Clinical Research Center
(GCRC) What are the Ground Rules?" July 11, noon to 1 pm in the Wellman
Conference Room. Margaret McCabe, RN, DNSc, nurse manager of the GCRC, will explain the
center's purpose and describe the policies and procedures that research coordinators and
nurses should be familiar with before caring for study subjects on the unit. Lunch will be

AMMP scholarships
deadline extension
The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners
(AMMP) has extended its application deadline for the 2001 AMMP scholarships. All
applications now should be submitted by July 15. All Partners minority employees, in good
standing and employed for at least one year, are eligible to receive up to $1,000.
Applicants must be accepted into part-time or full-time programs of study and should be
willing to commit at least 20 hours of service to AMMP if chosen as scholarship

Differential pay
policy
In an effort to enhance recruitment and retention of
employees, the hospital's shift differential policy has been updated and was put into
effect June 3. In addition, all shift differential levels have been increased. For more
information about the differential pay policy, MGHers should speak to their supervisors.
Charles River Park
health club open house
An open house for all MGH employees will be held
June 26, 6 am to 10 pm at The Clubs at Charles River Park. The fitness facility is located
adjacent to the hospital. |
