What's Happening

Coming soon: The many faces of the MGH
MGHers see the familiar faces of colleagues every day as they walk through the corridors of the hospital. But starting soon, some of those faces will be on
permanent display. Three new murals, featuring images of MGH employees from all areas of the hospital, will be mounted in various locations on the ground floor. The murals will be located in the Main Corridor near Coffee Central, the corridor leading to the Gray Lobby and the first floor of the WACC near the Pharmacy. See next week's issue of Hotline for more details.

Conference room bookings
Because of changes in conference room booking procedures, Environmental Services requests employees to not book conference rooms during the weeks of July 29 through Aug. 9. The following conference rooms will not be booked: O'Keeffe Auditorium; Walcott 2 and 3; Wellman 101; Burr 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6; Lawrence House; and Clinics 1 Lower Amphitheater. There also will be no special requests for tables and chairs. Environmental Services will be accepting cancellations for those rooms at that time. Any new requests should be submitted before July 22 or after Aug. 12. For more information, contact Environmental Services at (617) 726-2445.

MGH General Store offers medical supplies
The MGH General Store now offers medical supplies and hospital scrubs for sale to all customers. MGH employees will receive a 10 percent discount and an additional 10 percent off if they are a preferred customer. For more information, contact JoAnne Ellison at (617) 724-1752.

HOPES seminars
The MGH HOPES (Helping our Patients and Families through Education and Support) program will offer several classes and seminars throughout the month of June. A pain management seminar will be held June 24, from 11 am to noon. A support group for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer will meet June 28, from noon to 1:30 pm. All events are held in the Cancer Resource Room on Cox 1. Seminars are free, and no pre-registration is required. For more information, call (617) 724-1822.
