From medicine to music

Two-time Super Bowl champion and grateful patient Tedy Bruschi opened the seventh annual "Partners Night at the Pops: A Celebration in Honor of Our Physicians" by thanking the 1,000 Partners physicians in attendance for the top-notch medical care and services they offer. "Year after year, the care you give your patients is ranked among the best in the country on every scorecard there is," said the New England Patriots defensive lineman. "I'm proud to be part of a Super Bowl winning team, but you should be proud to be part of the team that is the Super Bowl champion of medicine." Led by conductor Keith Lockhart, the Boston Pops launched into a "baby boomer bash," featuring select tunes from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
