The MGH Public Affairs Office was honored by the Publicity Club of New England with two first-place Bell Ringer Awards June 13. Public Affairs staff members were recognized for producing the MGH Hotline and for generating local and national publicity when Helen Doherty, director of MGH Nutrition and Food Services, won the 1999 Massachusetts Restaurateur of the Year award. The Bell Ringer Awards recognize excellence and achievement in the communications and public relations fields.
