    Despite the day's record-breaking heat, employees, leadership and trustees, families and friends stayed cool beneath the Bulfinch Tent as they applauded some of the hospital's most vital members — its volunteers — at the annual MGH Volunteer Recognition Day Award ceremony June 7.

    Health screenings and safety demonstrations were among the activities Revere residents participated in at the MGH·Revere HealthCare Center's annual health fair June 5.
  • A neighborly gift to the Gillette Center
    Through the Lynn General Electric (GE) Employees' Good Neighbor Fund, employees of the GE branch in Lynn, Mass., truly have been good neighbors to the Gillette Center for Women's Cancers at the MGH.
  • MGH neurosurgeon honored
    Robert Ojemann, MD, director of the MGH Brain Tumor Center, received the C. Miller Fisher, MD, Award for outstanding accomplishment in surgical management of cerbrovascular disease at the American Heart Association's Third Annual Stroke Awareness Awards luncheon at the Boston Copley Marriott Hotel May 14.
