A neighborly gift to the Gillette Center

Through the Lynn General Electric (GE) Employees' Good Neighbor Fund, employees of the GE branch in Lynn, Mass., truly have been good neighbors to the Gillette Center for Women's Cancers at the MGH. The fund recently made a $2,500 donation, which will be used to purchase a recliner chair, a television and television stand for the Cancer Resource Room on Cox 1. The gift will help the MGH provide a more comfortable space for patients and families and allow a broader range of patients the opportunity to take advantage of the Resource Room facilities.
