Pledging to protect patients

MGHers throughout the hospital are pledging to protect their patients by using CalStat before and after patient contact. Eight of these employees are featured on the most recent set of hand hygiene posters that recently were distributed around the hospital.

These employees, along with the STOP — Stop Transmission Of Pathogens — Task Force, feel strongly about the message of practicing good hand hygiene before and after patient contact by using CalStat, the waterless hand disinfectant available throughout the hospital.

The posters feature Kim Kane and Dan S utton, from White 11; Chastity McMullon, from the Emergency Department; Chanda Pong and Megan Knecht, from Bigelow 11; and Christie Williamson, Margo McField and Melvin Hargrove, from the Operating Rooms.
