In General Joseph C. Kvedar, MD, director of Partners Telemedicine, has become president of the American Telemedicine Association, an organization of medical and technology professionals dedicated to equalizing access to health care through the use of communication technologies. James W. May, Jr., MD, chief of MGH Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, recently was elected as the vice president of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS), which will lead to his assumption of the position of president in 2006. of Education for MGH Radiology and associate radiologist-in-chief, is
one of three 2004 recipients of American Roentgen Ray Society's highest
award, the Gold Medal for Distinguished Service to Radiology. |
