MassGeneral Hospital for Children hosted its first national conference May 28 through 31 at the West Copley Hotel. "Humanizing Health Care for Children and Families: the Art of the Relationship" brought together care providers and families to advocate for the importance of relationships between families, practitioners and the community in the care of children.

Providers and parents led forums and discussions about such topics as youth violence prevention, death and the grief process in children and culturally competent care in children.
