Kaleidoscope offers inspiration and creativity Young artists from MassGeneral Hospital for Children displayed their creative artwork May 21 for a new program called Kaleidoscope, which transforms pediatric patients' artwork into healing displays for children being treated in the Cancer Center. Kaleidoscope is a collaborative effort between MassGeneral Hospital for Children and Illuminations, a rotating art exhibit housed in the MGH Cancer Center. Illuminations was created to bring enlightenment and inspiration in the form of art to cancer patients undergoing treatment at the hospital. Kaleidoscope artwork is on display in the Blake 255 Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic and will rotate three times a year in hopes of creating a more healing environment for pediatric patients by lifting spirits and inspiring creativity.
