Direct
deposit makes payday more convenient More than 70 percent of MGHers don't have to wait in line to cash their paychecks. They also have their pay available in their accounts before the checks are delivered on payday, and they don't have to worry about receiving their pay when they are on vacation. That's because 72 percent of MGHers use direct deposit, which automatically sends paychecks directly into employees' bank accounts. MGHers can learn more about direct deposit at special information sessions on the following dates: May 31,Walcott Conference Room, 8:30 to 10:30 am and at CNY, Building 149 Lobby, 11 am to 2 pm; June 8, in the Wellman Conference Room, 2:30 to 4:30 pm; and June 14 at CNY, Building 149 Lobby, 11am to 2 pm. Staff from MGH Human Resources and Payroll, along with representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank, FleetBank and the Harvard Credit Union will be on hand to answer questions. |
