Disabilities presentation
The MGH Office of the President and the MGH Council on Disabilities Awareness invites the community to a presentation "Employment: The Greater Equalizer for People with Disabilities" June 9, from 10 to 11:15 am in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Roy Grizzard, MD, the first assistant secretary of Labor for the Office on Disability Employment Policy, will be the guest speaker. A reception in Grizzard's honor will immediately follow the presentation. The event is co-sponsored by the MGH Community Benefits Program, the Association of Multicultural Members of Partners, Patient Care Services, Human Resources and the Multicultural Affairs Office.

Diaz award nominations
Nominations for the Ricardo Diaz Memorial Award now are being accepted. Diaz, who worked in MGH Environmental Services and MGH Buildings and Grounds, tragically lost his life during snow removal at the MGH. An award of $1,000 will be given to the nominee who best represents the qualities Diaz demonstrated during his 12 years at the MGH. Employees who have worked at the MGH for at least two years in Buildings and Grounds, Environmental Services, Materials Management, Nutrition and Food Services, or Police and Security are eligible. Unit Service Associates also are eligible for the award. Nomination forms can be picked up in the offices mentioned above or in the Human Resources offices located on White 14, Clinics 117 and 75 Blossom Court. Nominations also can be obtained online in English and Spanish at http://is.partners.org/hr/affiliates/mgh/. Nominations are due May 27 by 3 pm.

Infertility workshops
MGH Vincent Reproductive Medicine and IVF will present a free four-evening workshop series open to any individual or couple with infertility issues June 1, 8, 15 and 22, from 5:15 to 7:15 pm. Rob McInnes, MD, and Lucie McInnes, RN, will lead the workshops that will include teaching and discussion as well as the practice of meditation and other complementary medicine techniques. Identity theft seminar
MGH Police and Security will host an identity theft seminar May 25, from noon to 1 pm at CNY Building 149, room 2204. Bonnie Michelman, director of Police, Security and Outside Services, and members of the Special Investigative Unit will talk about one of the fastest growing crimes in the country, how to spot the signs of identity theft and how to protect your identity.

Memorial golf tournament
The Clubs at Charles River Park invite the MGH community to the Paul Daley Memorial Golf Tournament Aug. 9 at the Winthrop Country Club. The tournament is a scramble format with a shotgun start at 8 am. For more information or to register, call (617) 726-2900.

MGH Revere road race and health fair
The MGH Revere HealthCare Center will hold its annual road race and three-mile walk June 12 at 7:30 am along Revere Beach. The race begins at 8:30 am, the walk begins at 9 am and a children's one-mile run begins at 9:30 am. All proceeds will benefit the MGH Youth Zone.
