This week, MGH Public Affairs launched a new website for the MGH community, offering better access to news items about the hospital and its various activities.

Accessible by selecting "News & Information" or "News" on the MGH home page (www2.massgeneral.org), the hospital's official communications site features links to breaking news, recent press releases and media coverage about the hospital, its staff and employees. The site also features the latest issue of the MGH Hotline newsletter.

A new section "For Reporters" — also available for public viewing — provides information for news media outlets. The section has links to the online MGH physician directory, streamed grand rounds video, tips and ideas for possible news stories, background about the MGH and contact information for the Public Affairs staff. The site can serve as a reference tool for the MGH community and the general public for a variety of purposes. It contains archived materials and is searchable by keyword, making information easy to locate by name, topic, date or other areas of interest.
