A celebration of fitness

The Clubs at Charles River Park — a full service health club adjacent to the MGH — recently marked its second anniversary of being affiliated with the hospital by
showcasing the addition of 1,700 square feet of cardio fitness space.

The club's new state-of-the-art fitness space features specialized cardio excercise machines, which allow members to plug in a set of headphones into the machine, giving them the choice of four television stations or four satellite radio channels. The space also features new LifeFitness and Precor cardio equipment, including treadmills, lifecycles and elliptical cross trainers. Additional services include an outdoor pool, massage therapy and nutritional counseling.

Benefits eligible employees can sign up at the Clubs at the MGH membership rate of $38 per month. To sign up, an employee only needs to bring his or her MGH identification badge, which also will serve as the health club membership card.
