A safer ride for little ones

MassGeneral Hospital for Children teamed up with Jordan's Furniture, Kelly's Roast Beef, WCVB-TV Channel 5, and the Massachusetts State Police to host a free car seat safety check April 29 at Jordan's Furniture in Natick. Certified car seat safety technicians were onsite to assess car seats and to compare the child's weight and height measurements with the specifications of the car seat for a proper fit. With the help of eight MGH volunteers, 203 car seats were inspected during the two-and-a-half-hour event.
