Durant
receives Moakley Award Thomas Durant, MD, of MGH Administration, is the 2001 recipient of the John Joseph Moakley Award for Distinguished Public Service. The award was presented April 23 by the John W. McCormack Institute of Public Affairs, the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum and the University of Massachusetts Boston. The award, whose first recipient was Congressman Joe Moakley of Massachusetts, was established to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the public life and welfare of the state, the nation and the world. |
