The Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO) launched its website May 1, located at http://is.partners.org/mgpoOnline. The intranet (internal access only) site includes resources and materials for MGPO administrative services, medical and quality management, managed care contracting, customer service and practice support, as well as links to the Physician Referral Service, the Partners Physician Directory and the International Patient Center. The managed care contracting section includes a searchable contracts database.
The
site also offers a feature called "Doc Talk," which is an online
forum for attending physicians and house staff to discuss clinical issues.
A centralized calendar lists MGPO educational opportunities, meetings
and grand rounds. The home page of the site features an announcement section
for updates on new policies, upcoming meetings and other timely information.
