Surgical Technologist Interview Day
MGH Patient Care Services and Human Resources will hold a Surgical Technologist Interview Day May 7, from 2 to 6 pm in the Wilson Conference Room, Jackson 419. All are welcome to interview with Human Resources representatives and the surgical nurse manager as well as tour the main operating room. For more information, contact Megan Brown at (617) 726-5593.

EAP seminar
The MGH Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will host "Who's Driving Your Bus?" May 8, from noon to 1 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. Suzanne O'Connor, RN, MS, CS, psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, will offer practical ideas to help take life in the direction one chooses. CEUs are available for nurses. Ethics forum
An ethics forum entitled "Walking Through a Case: Recognizing, Reorganizing and Responding to Ethical Conflict" will be held May 9, from 11:45 am to 1 pm in the Sweet Conference Room on Bigelow 4, room 432. The forum will be moderated by Ruth Purtilo, PhD, visiting professor at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Beverages and dessert will be served. BioSecurity 2003 Workshops
Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health and Harvard Medical International are sponsoring "BioSecurity 2003 Workshops: Preparation and Response to Civilian Disasters Stemming from Biological, Chemical or Nuclear Events" May 12, from 9:30 am to 3 pm at the Harvard Club, 374 Commonwealth Ave. Susan Briggs, MD, an MGH surgeon and supervising medical officer of the federal disaster teams, will moderate. Free skin cancer screenings

AMMP panel discussion
The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) and Human Resources (HR) will host "How to Navigate the MGH Hiring Process" May 8, from noon to 1 pm in the Mort Buckley Conference Room, Blake 8. A panel of HR generalists will discuss the online WebHire system, how to submit a resume online and what HR looks for when reviewing resumes.
