Take Our Children to Work Day
The MGH will celebrate Take Our Children to Work Day April 26. This year's theme is "Partnering to Learn." All main campus and CNY employees' children, from 9 to 15 years of age, are invited to learn about health care and careers at the MGH. Employees must obtain approval from their supervisors or managers, and should be able to provide supervision throughout the day's activities. Registration forms may be obtained in the Human Resources offices on White 14 and at 75 Blossom Court, CNY Building 149 and Bulfinch 360. All children must be registered by April 20. MGH Revere Community Health Day
The MGH Revere HealthCare Center will celebrate Community Health Day April 26, from 8 to 10:30 am at the center, 300 Ocean Ave., Revere. Guest speaker Ursula Kelly, RN, MSN, CS-ANP, will discuss cross-cultural issues in health care. For more information, contact the center at (781) 485-6300.

Timilty Partnership events
MGH volunteers are needed to host James P. Timilty Middle School seventh-grade students for the fifth annual City of Boston Middle School Job Shadow Day, May 22. Job Shadow Day introduces students to the working world and encourages career exploration. Employees are invited to host a student from 9 am to 1:30 pm. The MGH/Timilty Partnership also invites participation in the SummerWorks 2001 program. SummerWorks places Timilty graduates throughout the MGH in clinical, research and administrative summer work positions. Hospice movement founder to speak
Dame Cicely Saunders, founder of the modern hospice movement, will give a presentation April 20, from 5 to 6 pm in the Shriners Burns Hospital Auditorium, 51 Blossom St. A reception will follow in the Wellman Conference Room at the MGH. Clinical Research Program seminar series
The MGH Clinical Research Program will sponsor "Problem-Based Biostatistics Seminars for Physiologic Investigators," May 3, 10, 17 and 24, from 4 to 5 pm in the Lawrence House Conference Room at Harvard Medical School. Cancer nursing presentation
The MGH Center for Clinical and Professional Development will sponsor "Cancer Nursing — Anchoring Our Practice With Knowledge," April 20, from 8 am to 4:30 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Participants will be awarded 6.3 contact hours, and lunch will be provided. For more information, call (617) 726-3111.

Lymphedema course
Lerner Lymphedema Services Academy will offer an advanced lymphedema services training session, April 27 to 29 in the Walcott Conference Rooms, WACC. Lymphedema is a common disorder caused by excessive fluid buildup in the lymphatic transport system, leading to problems carrying protein, lipid and other molecules. Featured presenters will include Alan J. Fischman, MD, director of MGH Nuclear Medicine; Dicken Ko, MD, of MGH Transplant Surgery; and Simon Powell, MD, of MGH Radiation Oncology.
