• Kerry's surgery a success
  Presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry came to the MGH March 31 to have outpatient surgery on his right shoulder to repair a torn tendon.
  

• A story of survival and loss: MGH patient thanks MGH staff, rescuers
  Russell Cox and his wife, Brenda, were avid hikers. They especially loved hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. But their hike on March 21 turned to tragedy when they got lost for two days in a severe winter storm.

• Study details brain changes in autism, language disorder
  Using advanced imaging technology, an MGH-based research team has identified specific portions of the brain's white matter that are abnormally large in children with autism and developmental language disorder (DLD).
  

• Contact Center picks up the PACE with new employees
  In early December, employees of the hospital's centralized contact center, the RRC (Registration and Referral Center), set out to accomplish a tough but important task – hiring a significant number of employees for the new center by the end of the year. Four months later, the task has been accomplished and the positive effects are being felt throughout the MGH community.
