CRP presentation program
The Clinical Research Program (CRP) and the Department of Psychiatry will offer "How to Give a Presentation," April 10, from 4 to 5:15 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Andrew A. Nierenberg, MD, associate director of the Depression Clinical and Research Program, will present a quick and easy guide for giving oral presentations. Registration is recommended. Call for portfolios for PCS recognition
The Patient Care Services (PCS) Clinical Recognition Review Board has announced a call for portfolios for advanced clinicians and clinical scholars. Starting May 1, portfolios are due on the first of each month and decisions are made within three months. For more details and application materials, visit http://pcs.mgh.harvard.edu. Completed portfolios may be submitted to the Center for Clinical and Professional Development on Founders 6.

Clinical research coordinator seminar
The Clinical Research Program (CRP) and the Laboratory of Computer Science will offer "Using the Web-based, Partners Research Patient Data Registry," April 10, from noon to 1 pm, in the Wellman 101 Conference Room. Jeanne Guerin, MBA, RN, will present a brief overview of this Partners information resource that allows human studies investigators to access aggregate patient clinical data to find patient cohorts for clinical research studies. Guerin will describe the data that comprises the registry as well as demonstrate queries and how to register. To register for the seminar, call the CRP reservation line at (617) 726-1669. Lunch will be served. This lecture qualifies for 1.2 contact hours for registered nurses.

EAP program on breastfeeding
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will offer a work/life session about breastfeeding, April 2, from noon to 1 pm, in VBK Room 401. Presented by Germaine Lambergs, RN, IBCLC, a lactation specialist, this program is geared to expectant parents, new parents or employees considering having children. A tour of the Mother's Corner Lactation Room will be offered.

Annual Vincent Club Show
The Vincent Club will host its annual Vincent Club Show, a musical production to benefit the MGH Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service. This year's show, "Go for the Gold," will take place May 16, 17 and 18 at Copley Theatre, Boston. For more information and tickets, call (617) 523-3900.

Family-Centered Care Award nominations
Nominations now are being accepted for the annual Family-Centered Care Awards. The awards recognize caregivers at MassGeneral Hospital for Children, who best exemplify the hospital's mission and the care given to children and families. Any MassGeneral Hospital for Children employee can be nominated by a colleague, patient, family or visitor. Nominators may submit a brief letter stating why they believe the nominee deserves to be recognized. Nominations must be submitted by April 2 to Judy Newell, RN, on Ellison 17.

Children and Healthcare Week
MassGeneral Hospital for Children will celebrate National Children and Healthcare Week, April 21 to May 3. As a part of the celebration, children who are visiting the hospital as part of Take Our Children to Work Day, April 25, also can participate in the Children and Healthcare Week fair that day. If employees have registered their children for Take Our Children to Work Day, they are automatically registered for the fair.
